# OrigNotes vs QuickNotation

The clearest difference is update cadence: OrigNotes at every 11 days against QuickNotation's every 17 months. OrigNotes also leads on ratings volume (336 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). QuickNotation's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
