# Temp Mail vs WalleX Docs

The clearest difference is monetization model: WalleX Docs at free with in-app purchases against Temp Mail's subscription. WalleX Docs also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 17 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Temp Mail's advantage is ratings volume (2K vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Temp Mail sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and WalleX Docs sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WalleX Docs holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Temp Mail has 2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Temp Mail ships an update every 17 months, WalleX Docs every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 26, 2026 respectively.
