# Hootop vs CloudiKids

The clearest difference is update cadence: CloudiKids at every 4 days against Hootop's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Hootop sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and CloudiKids sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
