# My diary vs TimerBox

The clearest difference is rating: TimerBox at 5.0 against My diary's 3.9. TimerBox also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). My diary's advantage is ratings volume (7 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
