# Box.Live vs BASH TV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Box.Live at none against BASH TV's 7. Box.Live also leads on ratings volume (148 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). BASH TV's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 4 months). On price, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BASH TV sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Box.Live asks for nothing beyond the download.

BASH TV holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Box.Live has 148 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Box.Live ships an update every 4 months, BASH TV weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
