# Undercut vs 8Bit Racing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: 8Bit Racing at 63% against Undercut's 0%. 8Bit Racing also leads on ratings volume (18 vs 1). Undercut's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 1). On price, update cadence, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 8Bit Racing sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Undercut asks for nothing beyond the download.

Undercut holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 8Bit Racing has 18 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 0% of Undercut's written reviews are positive against 63% of 8Bit Racing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
