# Make vs PrepChecklist

The clearest difference is update cadence: PrepChecklist at fortnightly against Make's every 4 months. Make's advantage is review sentiment (71% vs 50%) and rating (4.7 vs 4.4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Make sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per year and PrepChecklist sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Make holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Make has 198 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Make's written reviews are positive against 50% of PrepChecklist's.

Make ships an update every 4 months, PrepChecklist fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 7, 2026.
