# Notebook vs Daily PDF

The clearest difference is ads: Daily PDF at none against Notebook's shown. Daily PDF also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months). Notebook's advantage is iOS requirement (14.0 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notebook sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Daily PDF sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.29 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notebook ships an update every 2 months, Daily PDF every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
