# Audio Editor vs VP

The clearest difference is rating: VP at 5.0 against Audio Editor's 4.4. Audio Editor's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.9K vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Audio Editor sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and VP sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

VP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Audio Editor has 3.9K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Audio Editor ships an update every 11 days, VP every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
