# HiFocos vs DisciplineTree

The clearest difference is update cadence: DisciplineTree at every 6 weeks against HiFocos's every 9 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HiFocos sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and DisciplineTree sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HiFocos ships an update every 9 months, DisciplineTree every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
