# A24 vs Posterama

A24 and Posterama both sit at 3.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Posterama's written reviews are positive against 22% of A24's. Posterama also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 weeks). A24's advantage is ratings volume (198 vs 3) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A24 sells 114 one-off in-app purchases and Posterama sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.6 for A24 against 3.7 for Posterama. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: A24 has 198 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 22% of A24's written reviews are positive against 100% of Posterama's.

A24 ships an update every 4 weeks, Posterama every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
