# A24 vs Cinemoo

The clearest difference is rating: Cinemoo at 5.0 against A24's 3.6. Cinemoo also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 117) and update cadence (daily vs every 4 weeks). A24's advantage is ratings volume (198 vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. A24 sells 116 one-off in-app purchases. Cinemoo asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cinemoo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: A24 has 198 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

A24 ships an update every 4 weeks, Cinemoo daily. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
