# Lingotchi vs TalkHere

The clearest difference is update cadence: TalkHere at every 4 days against Lingotchi's every 2 weeks. TalkHere also leads on ratings volume (184 vs 5). Lingotchi's advantage is iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lingotchi sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and TalkHere sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Lingotchi against 4.9 for TalkHere. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TalkHere has 184 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Lingotchi ships an update every 2 weeks, TalkHere every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
