# eTicket vs WanderMap

The clearest difference is rating: WanderMap at 5.0 against eTicket's 4.7. eTicket's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 70%) and ratings volume (61 vs 3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eTicket sells 13 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and WanderMap sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WanderMap holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: eTicket has 61 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of eTicket's written reviews are positive against 70% of WanderMap's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

eTicket ships an update monthly, WanderMap every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
