# Cookie vs SpeedTest

The clearest difference is rating: Cookie at 3.4 against SpeedTest's 1.0. Cookie also leads on review sentiment (40% vs 0%) and in-app purchases (none vs 7). SpeedTest's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, chart position and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SpeedTest sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Cookie asks for nothing beyond the download.

Cookie holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cookie has 99 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 40% of Cookie's written reviews are positive against 0% of SpeedTest's.

Cookie ships an update every 4 months, SpeedTest every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
