# Tweeload vs SmartBallot

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Tweeload at 3.2K against SmartBallot's 5. SmartBallot's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tweeload sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and SmartBallot sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SmartBallot holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tweeload has 3.2K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Tweeload ships an update every 9 days, SmartBallot every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
