# Dive Converter vs Scuba

The clearest difference is price: Scuba at Free against Dive Converter's $1.99. Scuba also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.0) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). Dive Converter's advantage is ratings volume (5 vs 1). On ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Scuba is free to download; Dive Converter costs $1.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Scuba holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dive Converter has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
