# Tiles vs Hitstalt

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hitstalt at 98% against Tiles's 50%. Hitstalt also leads on chart position (#42 vs unranked) and iOS requirement (16.6 vs 26.0). Tiles's advantage is price (Free vs $1.99) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Tiles is free to download; Hitstalt costs $1.99 up front. Hitstalt sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Tiles asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tiles holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.7. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2 and 3 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Tiles's written reviews are positive against 98% of Hitstalt's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Tiles ships an update fortnightly, Hitstalt every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
