# Paint Tracker vs Scribble Save

The clearest difference is update cadence: Scribble Save at every 3 days against Paint Tracker's every 5 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Paint Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Scribble Save sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
