# ChatPlus vs SurfiAI Assistant

The clearest difference is ads: ChatPlus at none against SurfiAI Assistant's shown. ChatPlus also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). SurfiAI Assistant's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and update cadence (every 6 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ChatPlus sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per 7 days and SurfiAI Assistant sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SurfiAI Assistant holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ChatPlus has 2.1K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

ChatPlus ships an update every 2 weeks, SurfiAI Assistant every 6 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
