# Weakly vs Simplified

The clearest difference is update cadence: Simplified at every 9 days against Weakly's every 3 weeks. Weakly's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 90%) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Weakly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Simplified sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Weakly ships an update every 3 weeks, Simplified every 9 days. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
