# OnlyDrams vs Palate

OnlyDrams and Palate both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Palate's written reviews are positive against 65% of OnlyDrams's. Palate also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 days vs fortnightly). OnlyDrams's advantage is ratings volume (9.3K vs 8) and chart position (#34 vs unranked). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. OnlyDrams sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month and Palate sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for OnlyDrams against 4.9 for Palate. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: OnlyDrams has 9.3K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 65% of OnlyDrams's written reviews are positive against 100% of Palate's.

OnlyDrams ships an update fortnightly, Palate every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
