# Trans vs Lifeskills Link

The clearest difference is rating: Trans at 5.0 against Lifeskills Link's 2.6. Lifeskills Link's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Trans holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lifeskills Link has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
