# Trans vs Blimatakan

The clearest difference is rating: Trans at 5.0 against Blimatakan's 4.4. Trans also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Blimatakan's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blimatakan sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Trans asks for nothing beyond the download.

Trans holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Blimatakan has 12 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
