# EssAI Pro vs CubeClaw

The clearest difference is monetization model: CubeClaw at freemium against EssAI Pro's subscription. CubeClaw also leads on ratings volume (100 vs 1). EssAI Pro's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EssAI Pro sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and CubeClaw sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

EssAI Pro holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CubeClaw has 100 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EssAI Pro ships an update monthly, CubeClaw every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
