# MosApp vs BFF Messenger

The clearest difference is rating: MosApp at 4.7 against BFF Messenger's 4.2. BFF Messenger's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 50%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MosApp sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and BFF Messenger sells 6 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MosApp holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BFF Messenger has 17 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of MosApp's written reviews are positive against 80% of BFF Messenger's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

MosApp ships an update fortnightly, BFF Messenger every 8 days. Both last shipped on October 30, 2026.
