# Proofivy vs SetSum

The clearest difference is ads: Proofivy at none against SetSum's shown. SetSum's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs monthly) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Proofivy sells 2 one-off in-app purchases and SetSum sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Proofivy ships an update monthly, SetSum fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 16, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
