# Elderand vs Letter Launch

The clearest difference is price: Letter Launch at $0.99 against Elderand's $6.99. Letter Launch also leads on review sentiment (90% vs 74%) and chart position (#170 vs unranked). Elderand's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and ratings volume (36 vs 4). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Elderand costs $6.99 and Letter Launch $0.99 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Elderand holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Elderand has 36 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Elderand's written reviews are positive against 90% of Letter Launch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Elderand ships an update weekly, Letter Launch every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
