# Watch Faces vs TalkUnplugged

The clearest difference is rating: TalkUnplugged at 5.0 against Watch Faces's 4.4. TalkUnplugged also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 19) and ads (none vs shown). Watch Faces's advantage is ratings volume (19K vs 1) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Watch Faces sells 17 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. TalkUnplugged asks for nothing beyond the download.

TalkUnplugged holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Watch Faces has 19K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Watch Faces ships an update every 6 weeks, TalkUnplugged every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
