# BodySense vs Optimal Trainer

The clearest difference is update cadence: BodySense at every 2 days against Optimal Trainer's every 4 days. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. BodySense sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and Optimal Trainer sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BodySense ships an update every 2 days, Optimal Trainer every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
