# RuxTux vs Work&Motion

The clearest difference is ads: RuxTux at none against Work&Motion's shown. RuxTux also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RuxTux sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Work&Motion sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $39.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RuxTux ships an update every 2 months, Work&Motion every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
