# FreeSite vs Links

The clearest difference is update cadence: Links at every 8 days against FreeSite's every 5 weeks. Links also leads on ratings volume (456 vs 44) and review sentiment (93% vs 83%). FreeSite's advantage is iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for FreeSite against 4.7 for Links. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Links has 456 ratings behind it against 44, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 83% of FreeSite's written reviews are positive against 93% of Links's.

FreeSite ships an update every 5 weeks, Links every 8 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
