# TeleStatus vs Coverage Map

The clearest difference is ads: TeleStatus at none against Coverage Map's shown. TeleStatus also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). Coverage Map's advantage is ratings volume (798 vs 5). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TeleStatus holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Coverage Map has 798 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.
