# Kalaam vs HISTORYUN

The clearest difference is monetization model: HISTORYUN at free against Kalaam's free with in-app purchases. HISTORYUN also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.4). Kalaam's advantage is ratings volume (326 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Kalaam sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and HISTORYUN sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HISTORYUN holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Kalaam has 326 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
