# Geckoss vs Lucyd

The clearest difference is rating: Geckoss at 5.0 against Lucyd's 4.0. Geckoss also leads on device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 26.0). Lucyd's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (138 vs 2). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Geckoss sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Lucyd sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Geckoss holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lucyd has 138 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Geckoss ships an update every 5 weeks, Lucyd every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
