# rsLog vs EDD

The clearest difference is ads: rsLog at none against EDD's shown. EDD's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

rsLog ships an update every 2 months, EDD every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
