# TypePick vs Letter Set Typography

The clearest difference is rating: Letter Set Typography at 5.0 against TypePick's 4.0. Letter Set Typography also leads on ratings volume (5 vs 1). TypePick's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TypePick sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Letter Set Typography sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Letter Set Typography holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Letter Set Typography has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
