# Crunch Bae vs SKIMS

Crunch Bae and SKIMS both sit at 5.0 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Crunch Bae's written reviews are positive against 66% of SKIMS's. Crunch Bae also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 weeks). SKIMS's advantage is ratings volume (59K vs 59) and chart position (#183 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Crunch Bae against 4.9 for SKIMS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SKIMS has 59K ratings behind it against 59, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of Crunch Bae's written reviews are positive against 66% of SKIMS's.

Crunch Bae ships an update every 4 days, SKIMS every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
