# RNE Audio vs PRIMERAN

The clearest difference is ads: RNE Audio at none against PRIMERAN's shown. RNE Audio also leads on ratings volume (625 vs 3) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). PRIMERAN's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 72%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RNE Audio holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RNE Audio has 625 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 72% of RNE Audio's written reviews are positive against 100% of PRIMERAN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

RNE Audio ships an update monthly, PRIMERAN every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
