# RNE Audio vs VIOU

The clearest difference is update cadence: VIOU at every 2 weeks against RNE Audio's monthly. VIOU also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). RNE Audio's advantage is device support (5 vs 3). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

RNE Audio ships an update monthly, VIOU every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
