# LED Marquee vs LED Banner

The clearest difference is ads: LED Marquee at none against LED Banner's shown. LED Marquee also leads on ratings volume (1.3K vs 94). LED Banner's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and review sentiment (25% vs 14%). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LED Marquee sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and LED Banner sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for LED Marquee against 4.4 for LED Banner. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LED Marquee has 1.3K ratings behind it against 94, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 14% of LED Marquee's written reviews are positive against 25% of LED Banner's.

LED Marquee ships an update monthly, LED Banner every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
