# LED Marquee vs LED Scroll Display

The clearest difference is review sentiment: LED Scroll Display at 100% against LED Marquee's 14%. LED Scroll Display also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly). LED Marquee's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 8). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LED Marquee sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and LED Scroll Display sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LED Scroll Display holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LED Marquee has 1.3K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 14% of LED Marquee's written reviews are positive against 100% of LED Scroll Display's.

LED Marquee ships an update monthly, LED Scroll Display every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
