# Backside Stats vs Pop Fly Scorecard

The clearest difference is monetization model: Backside Stats at free against Pop Fly Scorecard's free with in-app purchases. Backside Stats also leads on ratings volume (76 vs 2) and update cadence (monthly vs every 2 months). Pop Fly Scorecard's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Backside Stats sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $49.99 per year and Pop Fly Scorecard sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
