# HeartMath vs Soul Link

The clearest difference is rating: HeartMath at 4.9 against Soul Link's 4.5. HeartMath also leads on ratings volume (4.7K vs 8) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Soul Link's advantage is iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HeartMath sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per year and Soul Link sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

HeartMath holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HeartMath has 4.7K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of HeartMath's written reviews are positive against 80% of Soul Link's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

HeartMath ships an update every 3 weeks, Soul Link every 2 months. Both last shipped on October 21, 2026.
