# HeartMath vs MESET

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: MESET at none against HeartMath's 5. MESET also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). HeartMath's advantage is ratings volume (4.7K vs 1). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HeartMath sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per year. MESET asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for HeartMath against 5.0 for MESET. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HeartMath has 4.7K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

HeartMath ships an update every 3 weeks, MESET weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
