# HeartMath vs Moldmap

HeartMath and Moldmap both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Moldmap's written reviews are positive against 74% of HeartMath's. Moldmap also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks) and device support (3 vs 1). HeartMath's advantage is ratings volume (4.6K vs 4). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. HeartMath sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $39.00 per year and Moldmap sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for HeartMath against 5.0 for Moldmap. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: HeartMath has 4.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 74% of HeartMath's written reviews are positive against 100% of Moldmap's.

HeartMath ships an update every 3 weeks, Moldmap weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
