# Rapid VPN vs Global VPN Secure Browser

Rapid VPN and Global VPN Secure Browser both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of Global VPN Secure Browser's written reviews are positive against 56% of Rapid VPN's. Global VPN Secure Browser also leads on update cadence (every 11 days vs monthly). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Rapid VPN sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and Global VPN Secure Browser sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Rapid VPN holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 2.7K and 2.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 56% of Rapid VPN's written reviews are positive against 81% of Global VPN Secure Browser's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Rapid VPN ships an update monthly, Global VPN Secure Browser every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
