# Dall E AI vs Imagic

The clearest difference is rating: Dall E AI at 4.4 against Imagic's 1.0. Dall E AI also leads on ratings volume (402 vs 1) and iOS requirement (14.1 vs 18.4.1). Imagic's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dall E AI sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Imagic sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dall E AI holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dall E AI has 402 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Dall E AI ships an update monthly, Imagic fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
