# ScentAdvice vs Perfume Advisor

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ScentAdvice at 100% against Perfume Advisor's 39%. ScentAdvice also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 7) and rating (5.0 vs 4.6). Perfume Advisor's advantage is update cadence (every 9 days vs every 6 months) and ratings volume (340 vs 1). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Perfume Advisor sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. ScentAdvice asks for nothing beyond the download.

ScentAdvice holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Perfume Advisor has 340 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of ScentAdvice's written reviews are positive against 39% of Perfume Advisor's.

ScentAdvice ships an update every 6 months, Perfume Advisor every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
