# Tunly vs Spiral

The clearest difference is rating: Tunly at 5.0 against Spiral's 4.0. Tunly also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (7 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Tunly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month and Spiral sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Tunly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Tunly has 7 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.

Tunly ships an update every 6 weeks, Spiral every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
